Me and who I work with

I started Graystone Advisor to provide unbiased financial advice to households with stock options and RSUs.

I know we’re saving enough for retirement in 401k’s, but my wife and I still have serious conversations about how to use her company stock to help live the life we want.

Our issues require significant financial planning that firms focused on AUM can't help with.

I graduated from UCLA in 2005 with degrees in Applied Mathematics and Philosophy. I have been helping clients plan for their financial future since 2006. I earned the CFP Certification in 2010.

In my free time I coach my three kids sports teams, play softball, golf, ski in Incline Village, and work on the NYTimes Crossword puzzle with my wife, Jessica.

If you ever see me out and about, I’m the guy wearing something UCLA, Chargers, Padres, or Warriors.

Who I work with

A typical client scenario

Married couple with kids

I love to meet my clients for lunch to hear about their lives.

Some of the questions I help my clients answer

  1. When should I exercise my stock options?

  2. When do you know if you’re saving enough, even if you don’t know what your exact target is?

  3. What should I do with the extra money after an IPO?

  4. Is it worth it to take a new job with a shorter commute? What about the unvested shares I’m giving up?
